The five variables we control
The cutting agent of the wheel. Aluminum oxide for steel and ferrous metals. Silicon carbide for cast iron, non-ferrous, and hard, brittle materials. Selection drives cut rate and heat generation.
Coarse grits remove material fast. Fine grits produce smoother finishes. The right grit is a balance between stock removal rate and the surface finish your application requires.
Controls how readily the wheel releases worn grain and exposes fresh cutting edges. Softer grades cut cooler and resist loading. Harder grades last longer on softer materials. This is where most off-the-shelf wheels fail.
Fiberglass layers bonded into the wheel structure for burst resistance and rigidity at operating speed. Critical for cut-off wheels and applications where safety margins cannot be compromised.
Proprietary resinoid bonds tuned per application. We adjust the ratio of hardeners and liquid resins to move a wheel from soft-acting to hard-acting — independent of grade rating.
Most suppliers work from a fixed bond catalog. We formulate in-house — blending hardeners and liquid resins to create a bond matrix tuned to your specific combination of material, machine speed, and finish requirement. The result is a wheel that performs where others plateau.

The plug profile maintains full face contact under load and is compatible with standard threaded spindles on pneumatic and electric grinders.
Designed for access to confined areas, internal surfaces, and complex casting geometry that plug abrasives cannot reach. The cone profile maintains full face contact on irregular surfaces — critical for consistent finish on precision castings and aerospace components where surface integrity matters.
For surface grinding, weld blending, and edge work on flat and contoured surfaces. The recessed cup geometry keeps the mounting hardware clear of the workpiece and delivers consistent face contact. Available in three diameters to match machine spindle and application requirements.
Our widest size range — fiberglass-reinforced disc wheels from 2" up to 30" diameter. Used across grinding, blending, and finishing operations in foundry, fabrication, railroad, and aerospace applications. Reinforcement construction is standard across the range; grain, bond, and hardness are customer-specified.

Standard Construction
Used in foundry snagging operations where raw castings require aggressive stock removal, and in aerospace for surface grinding of forged and cast components. The 12" bore fits large-diameter horizontal spindle machines common in both industries. Steel ring construction handles the centrifugal forces of extended high-speed operation. Grain type, grit, and hardness grade are specified per customer application.
Wheels for rail surface grinding, wheel truing, and flange maintenance. Sizes and constructions are matched to the specific machine and maintenance operation. Some are fixed-spec for a defined application; others are available in multiple grain and bond configurations.
